We are winding down to our last days here on Kickstarter. It's a bittersweet feeling to have the campaign end but we hope you guys are as excited as we are to proceed with our first production run of the the World Traveller Collection. Some backers have been asking how we can choose the colors of the watch we want. Don't worry about that just yet! You'll be getting an email survey in several weeks with all that good stuff. In these BACKERKIT surveys, you'll be able to pick the color you want, enter your shipping info and add on other watches from our other collections so you can save on shipping!

STRETCH GOAL POLL
As mentioned earlier this week, we are finalizing the details for our stretch goal. After thorough discussions with our manufacturer, we were able to determine the costs for this production run with an additional color option. This includes what we'd need to cover costs such as creating a new mold for the case and dial, sourcing additional straps, and fulfillment integrations for a new SKU. Our stretch goal is now set at 225,000!
This translates to a production run of about 1250 units of the World Traveller. If our funding trend continues as is, we should just be reaching our stretch goal by the end of the campaign in 20 days!
SO this is where you guys come in! Let us know which color option you'd like! After receiving your messages and reading your comments, we put together this poll to let YOU decide.

Hello Backers!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! We lost an hour of sleep from DST but it was still an absolutely beautiful weekend here in sunny San Francisco.
STRETCH GOAL UPDATE
Just a really quick update today regarding the latest news on our stretch goal since many backers have been asking. As we mentioned in last week's update, we'll be finalizing the stretch goal this week. We will hear back from our manufacturing partners in a couple days regarding the new colorway option.
By the end of the week, we should know the exact mark our stretch goal will be at and have a poll setup to choose the colorway option. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment and let us know what colors you'd like to see most! A Blue/Steel option has been highly demanded so far... (insert Zoolander joke)

HELLO BACKERS!
Hope everyone is having a great Monday so far!
Welcome to all the new backers this week. As mentioned last week, we are doing a series of updates explaining the design, goals, and issues we’ve faced in creating the World Traveller.
DESIGN AESTHETIC
We talked about the engineering issues with the movement last week and how this is a one of a kind, brand new movement system. Once we were able to get the functionality of the watch down, we were able to work on the design aesthetics of the watch.
FLUTED BEZEL
One of the features we were super excited about was the Fluted Oyster Bezel. Inspired by brands like Rolex, we wanted to have our own version of this type of bezel. This was definitely one of the tougher case designs our manufacture had to perfect.
A fluted bezel practically doubles the available flat polished surface area on the bezel. Allowing not only a greater surface for light refraction, but also the ability to reflect light from different angles at the same time.
